Drones: An Introduction for Law Enforcement, Municipal Services and Public Use
This seminar will cover how drones are effective tools for Law Enforcement, Emergency Services and Public Works. This seminar will introduce you to the most common types of drones, their costs of operation and the major difference between aircraft. There will be a heavy emphasis on the certification processes for government workers, as well as the insurance requirements and penalties of operating illegally. Guidance will be provided in this session for developing community action plans along with safety management techniques to mitigate risk. Instructors: David Price, co-founder of the Drone Consultant Group, specializing in drone training, certification and providing FAA certification for Government Agencies and Joe Turner, an FAA certified drone pilot and commercial photographer, as well as a former instructor for the New England Institute for Law Enforcement (NEILEM) 539 SBPD1188-OWB:
