FAA Remote Pilot Exam Test Prep Course

This 2-day program will prepare those even with minimal UAS experience for the FAA Remote Pilot written examination and covers current FAA requirements for drone operations applicable to both private and public entities, familiarizes you on current FAA remote pilot regulations and introduces drone operators to some of the most common safety practices, including UAS safety management practices encouraged by insurance companies and risk managers plus learn key safety features of certain models as well as how to develop and follow sound checklist procedures and maintenance protocols. This program covers all of the required knowledge content areas of the FAA’s Remote Pilot Test including regulations, the national airspace system, airspace classification, operating requirements, and flight restrictions, aircraft aerodynamics, aviation weather, aircraft loading and performance, flight operations, flight physiology, crew resource management and aeronautical decision making and emergency procedures. Upon completion, students should feel more prepared, confident and qualified to take and pass the FAA Remote Pilot Test. Includes books and handouts, sample test questions and more.
