Hampton Beach
Hampton, NH  03842

The High School Penguin Plunge is a Special Olympics New Hampshire fundraising event entering its second year. The event is very similar to the Penguin Plunge but requires its participants to be students, staff or faculty of a New Hampshire high school and is a substance free event. Participants must raise a minimum amount of donations to benefit both Special Olympics (85%) and their high school (15%). The High School Penguin Plunge is a great opportunity to raise funds for Special Olympics and build school spirit! Of the money you raise, 15% of the gross proceeds will go to a school approved community project. Additionally, 15% of the gross proceeds will be credited to starting a unified soccer program. Show your school spirit!

Join new and returning Penguins for a cold plunge into the Atlantic Ocean. Plungers will brave the icy Atlantic to raise awareness and support for the athletes of Special Olympics New Hampshire. Plungers may participate individually or in "Flocks" (groups of 5 or more plungers). Those who wish to stay warm can take the Chicken Plunge and get prime viewing of the plungers while under the Big Top!

Over 3,500 participants will benefit! The money raised from the Penguin Plunge provides needed funding for Special Olympics New Hampshire. Special Olympics provides statewide, year-round sports training and athletic competition for more than 3,500 athletes and unified partners.
