Membership

To belong to the NH Association of Chiefs of Police one must be the chief officer of a law enforcement agency based in the State of New Hampshire.  They need not hold the title "Chief", we have several members who hold the rank of Agent-Charge, Captain, Director, and Sheriff.  The By-Laws state that those holding such position are immediate members of the Association upon appointment.

However, to hold office or vote on matters that come up before the membership dues of $100 annually must be paid and current.

There is also an Associate Membership for those not Chief Officers, but who have professional contacts with the Association.  The Associate members are nominated by a paid member and voted on by the members of the Association.  They may not hold office or vote at meetings.

To obtain a membership application, please contact the NHACoP Secretary.
